Frequently asked questions

What time do your services start?

Join us in-person on Sundays at 9:30 & 11a. You can also stream the service online on the Parkside Christian Church Facebook Page beginning at 9:30a.

Which door should I go in?

Our parking extends around the entire building, so it depends on where you park. Our doors are clearly marked with numbers.  Door 3 (under the canopy), Door 4 (on the east side), and Door 8 (on the north side) are the main doors we encourage people to enter for our worship services. Currently, families with children are encouraged to enter through Door 8 for the children ministry classes at 9:30 a.m.  For those with disabilities, we recommend Door 3 or Door 4. They are nearest to the handicap parking. No matter which door you enter, a greeter will be there to welcome you and answer your questions.

Do you have children's programming?

We do! Kiddos ages 0-6th grade can be checked into Parkside Kids where they experience a safe and fun learning environment led by teachers who are background checked.

Have students in 7th-12th grade? They can get connected with the Parkside Student Ministry! They’ll be greeted with a safe place for everybody to grow in their faith, build friendships, and have fun.

What will the worship service be like?

Both our 9:30 and 11a services are identical. The music is upbeat and led by a band. Each week is uniquely designed around a theme, and you can expect similar creative elements like music, prayer, video images, drama, object lessons, – we like to keep it fresh. The teaching is always Bible-based, relevant, and encouraging.

What if I can't sing or don't know the songs?

Sing, don’t sing, you’re welcome either way! We sing songs that contain Scripture or expressions of respect to God. Most people catch on quickly and enjoy the energy of the music whether they are good singers or not. If you don’t care to sing, just tap your feet and listen to the lyrics.

Is there anything I should prepare for?

We offer a special time in every worship service known as communion. We invite all followers of Jesus to participate. If you choose not to participate, that is fine, you can simply observe.  Please contact us if you would like more complete explanation.

Will I be asked to give money?

We take up a weekly offering because it honors God and sustains Parkside’s ministry. There is never any pressure to give and we don’t expect our guests to give. God has always provided for Parkside through the generosity of grateful people. See our Giving page for more information.
