Cincinnati River Walk

A 4-mile hike. The terrain is sidewalks and bike paths.

We will start the walk on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River west of the Newport Aquarium. The address of the suggested parking lot and starting point will be sent to interested parties. We will head west and quickly pass over the Licking River, entering the historic section of Covington, Kentucky. We will cross the Roebling Bridge and hike east on the north side of the Ohio River. We will pass several kids’ parks and will stop to allow the kids some time to enjoy. There are gardens and seating areas. Continue east we will reach the Purple People Bridge and cross over to the Kentucky side of the river. As we head west again we will reach the Newport Aquarium / Mall food area. Those that are interested can eat lunch at a vendor in this area. It is a short walk back to the cars from there.
