Matthew 25:37-40  “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

In early March of 2021 Breathitt County Kentucky experienced widespread flooding that was some of the worst that this area has ever experienced. It damaged or destroyed hundreds of homes. Many lost everything they had while others suffered damage that is beyond their financial abilities. One of those who suffered severe damage and loss was The Happy Church Ministries. THCM is a mission church to the, “Least of These” in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Their goal is to bring the message of God’s love and forgiveness to the poorest of the poor in Breathitt County and the flood has greatly hampered their work.

So Parkside has decided to come along side of The Happy Church and assist them with their recovery efforts and local outreach to their community. If you are interested in Serving God by serving the people in the Eastern Kentucky Mountains then please complete the form below. Once we receive your registration then we will contact you with more specifics. Thank you in advance for you prayers and service.
