SUMMARY:Cincinnati River Walk
DESCRIPTION:A 4-mile hike. The terrain is sidewalks and bike paths. \nWe will start the walk on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River west of the Newport Aquarium. The address of the suggested parking lot and starting point will be sent to interested parties. We will head west and quickly pass over the Licking River\, entering the historic section of Covington\, Kentucky. We will cross the Roebling Bridge and hike east on the north side of the Ohio River. We will pass several kids’ parks and will stop to allow the kids some time to enjoy. There are gardens and seating areas. Continue east we will reach the Purple People Bridge and cross over to the Kentucky side of the river. As we head west again we will reach the Newport Aquarium / Mall food area. Those that are interested can eat lunch at a vendor in this area. SUMMARY:Student Ministry Summer Mission Trip
DESCRIPTION:Student Ministry will be heading to Fort Myers\, Florida\, this summer to spend a week with our Mission Partner\, Lori Murwin\, at New International. During the week\, we will serve the Fort Myers community and go through a study called Kingdom Calling.  This will be a great trip to learn how to use your passions and skills wherever/however God calls you (e.g.\, stateside doing janitorial work and missions around the world).  \nThis is a great opportunity if you have never been on a mission trip. We will help you how to fundraise\, and it will be stateside. DESCRIPTION:Parkside needs volunteers to help staff a game booth during the Anderson Days Festival. The park will provide everything needed; all the volunteers have to do is help oversee the booth and its activities. The church can hand out information about Parkside and invitations to Mega Camp. This is an excellent opportunity to serve our community and get to know some of our neighbors better. There will be three two-hour shifts: 3:30-6 pm\, 6-8 pm\, 8-10 pm.

DESCRIPTION:The annual Strides for Hope 5k is one of Life Forward’s biggest fundraisers. Parkside has been a mission partner to Life Forward for many years. Please help us reach our team goal of raising $1800 to support three women and their babies for a year. You can run\, walk\, or just sponsor a Parkside individual or the “Parkside Team” in general. Please be certain to select “Parkside Team” when you register or sponsor someone.\n\n\n\nParkside has had a team participate the last 3 years\, and it is great fun. It’s a very low-key 5k (or just do the 1-mile loop) located in Mason. Mark your calendars now for Saturday\, September 13\, at 9:00 am. You must register by August 25 to receive a free t-shirt. Please also do some fundraising for our Life Forward mission partner to help make our goal!
