Frequently asked questions

At Parkside, we want you to feel at home as soon as you pull into our drive. Experience heartfelt worship and insightful lessons in the comfort of a casual inviting atmosphere. Come discover a community where you can grow and thrive. Whether this is your first time at Parkside, or your first time visiting a church, we’re saving a seat for you.

We are located at 6986 Salem Road, just east of Beech Acres Park in Anderson Township.

  • We offer two identical worship services to choose from. On Sundays, first service begins at 9:30 a.m. and the second service begins at 11:00 a.m.

  • Our parking extends around the entire building, so it depends on where you park. Our doors are clearly marked with numbers.  Door 3 (under the canopy), Door 4 (on the east side), and Door 8 (on the north side) are the main doors we encourage people to enter for our worship services. Currently, families with children are encouraged to enter through Door 7 (next to Door 8) for the children ministry classes at 9:30 a.m.  For those with disabilities, we recommend Door 3 or Door 4. They are nearest to the handicap parking. No matter which door you enter, a greeter will be there to welcome you and answer your questions.

  • Come dressed as you feel comfortable. There are people of all styles and ages at Parkside who just enjoy being together.

  • Parkside has a warm, casual atmosphere. We have volunteers to greet you and welcome you at the door. Don’t hesitate to ask questions at the Information Center located in the main lobby. New guests come every Sunday. You will feel welcomed without feeling any pressure or obligation.

  • Currently, we are offering children's classes for Toddlers - Sixth Grade for the 9:30 a.m. service only. Parents are asked to please register their child/children in advance by clicking here. We are currently limiting class sizes in order to provide a safe environment for all. All leaders and children in Kindergarten through 6th grade are required to wear a mask and temperatures are checked upon arrival. Activities are planned that keep social distancing in mind. Please enter through door 7 when dropping off your children, in order for us to keep a safe flow of traffic through our children's area.

  • The music is upbeat and led by a band. Each week is uniquely designed around a theme, and you can expect similar creative elements like music, prayer, video images, drama, object lessons, – we like to keep it fresh. The teaching is always Bible-based, relevant, and encouraging.

  • We sing songs that contain Scripture or expressions of respect to God. Most people catch on quickly and enjoy the energy of the music whether they are good singers or not. If you don’t care to sing, just tap your feet and listen to the lyrics.

  • We offer a special time in every worship service known as communion. We invite all followers of Jesus to participate. If you choose not to participate, that is fine, you can simply observe.  Please contact us if you would like more complete explanation.

  • We take up a weekly offering because it honors God and sustains Parkside’s ministry. There is never any pressure to give and we don’t expect our guests to give. God has always provided for Parkside through the generosity of grateful people.  Have more questions about giving?  Email your questions to  pcc@parksidechristian.com or call the church office (513.231.9482) to speak with one of the ministers.
